This project was created as part of an assignment. The goal was to craft an emotionally resonant landing page for UNICEF, encouraging people to sponsor girls’ education. This page was designed to capture attention, create empathy, and subtly nudge readers to reflect on the impact of their spending and consider making a life-changing difference.

The brief challenged us to create a compelling landing page for UNICEF’s girl sponsorship program, targeting potential sponsors. The focus was to convey the importance of providing educational opportunities to underprivileged girls worldwide. The aim was to blend storytelling with a subtle call to action, demonstrating the life-altering impact a small monthly contribution could have.

The process involved extensive research to understand the barriers girls face in accessing education and the transformative effect of sponsorship. I crafted a narrative that juxtaposed everyday expenses, like a dinner out, with the cost of sponsoring a girl’s education. The copy aimed to foster empathy by placing readers in a relatable scenario and then contrasting it with the needs of a girl dreaming of becoming, for example, a fashion designer, pilot, or engineer. Each line was carefully chosen to inspire reflection and action, leading to a call to action that resonated emotionally.

The final copy successfully balances empathy with a sense of responsibility, creating a strong emotional appeal. The narrative achieved an impactful storytelling approach, drawing attention to the tangible difference sponsorship can make. This project showcases my ability to blend strategic messaging with emotive storytelling, producing a result that engages and inspires readers to take meaningful action.
